Meadows Foundation Funds SLN Expansion in Texas

The Meadows Foundation has awarded Trinity University $281,000 for the first year of a three-year project to maintain the Trinity Principals’ Center (TPC), to support the continuation of the work SLN is presently doing in Texas and to expand SLN's presence there for the 2010-11 school year.
The grant will provide funding for a paid director and support staff at TPC, support the continuation of the existing SLN Networks and underwrite three more Networks in San Antonio, bringing the total of Networks to eight for Fall 2010. The Meadows grant includes funding for a full-time SLN Regional Director and supports the launch of an intensive leadership development effort in the Edgewood Independent School District in San Antonio.
