
SLN announced today a commitment to increase capacity in New York City to reach more principals for the upcoming school year. New SLN Networks are forming to foster principal leadership development, focusing on improving teacher capacity and student achievement.
Since 2006, using its proprietary Program Model, SLN has successfully worked with principals, across New York City, with good results. The SLN Program and the NYC SLN Facilitators were featured in the May 2010 issue of CSA News. Read article.
Analysis of the Report shows that SLN Principal led schools outperformed peer horizon schools in SY 2008-2009 and in SY 2007-2008. Read report.
SLN is a Sole Source Provider in New York City, officially recognized as the ONLY organization running professional Networks of principals through a research-based inquiry process model.
Principal participation can be supported through utilizing reimbursable funding sources, such as Title I funds, saving schools money when signing up for professional development programs.
