School Leaders Network, established in 2006 to address the needs of school leaders and to accelerate transformational change in their schools, resulting in increased student achievement, is pleased to announce Nigel Andrews as the new Chair of the Board of Directors.
Nigel Andrews is a retired business executive. He has been on the board of School Leaders Network since 2007. He was a partner at Booz Allen and Hamilton, an international consulting firm for nine years. He then joined GE as VP Corporate Business Development reporting to the Chairman and CEO Jack Welch. Over 13 years Nigel led several GE businesses finally becoming EVP of GE Capital. He has been a director of Old Mutual plc and Chairman of Old Mutual Asset Management. He is Vice Chairman of the Victory Funds, a director of Carlyle GMS Finance and a Governor of London Business School.
